Isaiah showed up in my shop ten years ago selling copies of his tattoo design sketchbook.  I flipped through the pages and realized what I was holding in my hands.  This guy is talented.  An actual artist.  Not a guy tracing and beating tired old designs to death, but everything in this sketchbook was original, and very tattooable.  After a short conversation, I realized that he had made an attempt to tattoo at a couple of shops that were run by people that I have let go for various reasons we will not get into.   Well, I had made him the offer and let him think it over, and a couple of weeks later, Isaiah had a station in Aloha Tattoo.  I didn't remember him, but apparently I had tattooed him when his mom brought him in years earlier for his first tattoo.  In a very short period of time, he had mastered the fundamentals of great tattooing, and has become one of the best tattoo artists on the island.  Cleanest lines, solid, saturated color, and powdery shading.  He has an eye for design.  If you are interested in one of his traditional tattoos, contact our Booking manager at (808) 400-9943.
